St David's Harbour Anchorage

12° 1.2′ N · 61° 40.8′ W

St David's Harbour is a quiet, reef-protected harbour on Grenada's south-east coast, flanked by wooded peninsulas, with clean water and a white-sand beach. Grenada Marine's boatyard is the only development.

Practical

Position is Noonsite's bay position, 12°01'12"N 61°40'45"W. Enter by the buoyed channel between two green and two red flashing markers. St David's Point, on the east side of the entrance, has a distinctive rock. Monitor VHF 16 for navigation information before and while moving in the harbour, and note the harbour is for yachts only (Noonsite). You may anchor and use Grenada Marine's dinghy dock and services, and the yard rents moorings. The customs and immigration office here is not operating, so clear elsewhere (noforeignland; 2016–2019 Noonsite comments). St George's is about 45 minutes by bus, and buses pass every 3–7 minutes on the main road.
