A string of small, locally run bars and eateries just behind the Saline Bay beach and ferry wharf: the closest places to the Saline Bay anchorage for a cold Hairoun, a plate of fish or a sundowner without climbing the hill.
Practical
Position is the Sea View Bar in OpenStreetMap (way 567235476); OpenStreetMap also maps Sandy Feet (12.63583, -61.39590), D-View Sports Bar & Restaurant (12.63647, -61.39592) and the Boathouse Bar & Water Station (12.63679, -61.39631) along the same shore. Land at the dinghy dock by the ferry wharf at the south end of the bay. Doyle (2025): Mayreau's beach vendors and restaurants are open and more are rebuilding after Hurricane Beryl, but individual Saline Bay venues were not named, so opening days vary: ask on the beach. There is no ATM on Mayreau and card machines are unreliable, so bring EC cash. For more choice walk up to the village (Robert Righteous and De Youths, Dennis' Hideaway, Island Paradise, J&C).
