Le Marin-Sainte-Luce Reef Sites (Aquarium, Trois Vallées, Jardin Bleu, Caye des Boucaniers)
14° 27.1′ N · 60° 54.6′ W · approximate
The other named reefs the Le Marin boats rotate through. The Aquarium is a fish-packed 7-15 m reef for new divers. The Trois Vallées coral garden slopes from 10 to 40 m. Jardin Bleu has a 19 m sand plateau with a small modern yacht wreck at 14 m. Caye des Boucaniers has a sponge-covered drop-off with a 12 m plateau.
Practical
Position is a general marker between Pointe Borgnèse and Sainte-Luce. Immersion Caraïbes lists these sites but publishes no positions, so do not anchor or dive them independently. Aquarium: ideal for PE12 and Level 1, with grunts, king mackerel, jacks, trumpetfish and lobsters in holes. Trois Vallées: certified divers, big coral heads on sand slopes. Jardin Bleu: experienced divers, 19-40 m, with a blue-water descent, batfish, many lionfish and mombin around the wreck. Caye des Boucaniers: open to all levels, but the surface is exposed and often rough, with angelfish on the wall.
