Ti Mur and Ti Voilier (Marin bay mouth)
14° 26.8′ N · 60° 53.6′ W · approximate
Twin sites at the mouth of the Baie du Marin. You drop onto a plateau at about 10 m beside a steep, well-defined wall, with lobsters, morays and conch on the wall and king mackerel and barracuda overhead.
Practical
Position is approximate, at the Marin bay entrance between Pointe Borgnèse and Pointe du Marin. Marin Plongée places both sites 'at the mouth of Marin bay', but neither operator publishes a mooring position. Immersion Caraïbes: open to all levels, with a plateau at about 10 m and a slope below 20 m. Marin Plongée reports mombin (Spanish hogfish) at about 10 m on Ti Voilier. This is the main boat channel into Le Marin, so dive only from an operator's boat with a flag up, and keep well clear by yacht.
Best for
A wall dive five minutes from the marina
