Jerry-Can Fuel opposite the Yacht Club
13° 5.0′ N · 59° 36.5′ W · approximate
With no fuel dock in Carlisle Bay, cruisers land the dinghy on the beach and carry jerry cans across Bay Street to the service station.
Practical
Position is the service station across Bay Street from the Barbados Yacht Club, from OpenStreetMap (approx). Noonsite (December 2025): the Shell station across from the Barbados Yacht Club fills jerry cans, and dinghies can be landed on the beach. The Bridgetown Fishing Harbour fuel dock fills jerry cans only (it no longer serves yachts alongside, and the dock is dangerous). For larger quantities go to Port St Charles, which also sells duty-free fuel on clearing out. A 2017 rally arranged a diesel truck to the Careenage.
