Glover Island Shallows (snorkel)

11° 59.2′ N · 61° 47.4′ W

The sandy shallows around Glover Island, off Point Salines, are a 3–7 m snorkel and easy dive known for eagle rays and southern stingrays, with trunkfish and scorpionfish for sharp eyes.

Practical

Position is the WikiBubbles dive-directory mark. Depth averages about 3 m, maximum 7 m. Long-spined urchins can carpet the sand at some times of year, so watch your fins and hands. Exposed to the south-east swell; go on a calm day by dinghy from True Blue or Prickly Bay, or with an operator.
