Castries and Vigie Fuel and Cooking Gas

14° 1.0′ N · 60° 59.5′ W

Castries has no yacht fuel dock, but a Rubis station on the Vigie peninsula road is a short jerry-can walk from Vigie Cove, and the Sol gas depot east of downtown fills or swaps cooking-gas cylinders.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap Rubis station on the Vigie side of the harbour (way 398173799), about 500 m from the Vigie Cove anchorage and The Coal Pot dinghy landing. Noonsite's Castries fuel section (last updated October 2017) lists no fuel dock; for alongside diesel, petrol and water use IGY Rodney Bay Marina or the Marigot Bay fuel dock. Other mapped road stations: Leo's (about 14.0099°N, 60.9923°W, near the ferry terminal), Rubis on Jeremie Street side (about 14.0091°N, 60.9872°W; diesel; listed Monday–Friday 9 am to 12 noon and 1:30 to 6:30 pm, Saturday–Sunday 9 am to 5 pm) and Jn Marie & Sons (about 14.0201°N, 60.9897°W). Sol gas depot with cylinder sales (about 14.0105°N, 60.9830°W; listed Monday–Friday 9 am to 4 pm). Hours from OpenStreetMap: verify locally. Provisioning: Massy Waterfront and Massy City Store downtown (the City Store lists Monday–Thursday 7 am to 7 pm, Friday–Saturday 7 am to 9 pm, Sunday 7 am to 6 pm) and the farmers' market near the cruise terminal, open six days a week (Noonsite, 2017).
