Bath Beach
13° 11.3′ N · 59° 28.7′ W
A rare calm-water beach on the east coast, sheltered by an offshore reef and shaded by casuarinas. It is the southern start of the old railway walk to Bathsheba.
Practical
Position from Visit Barbados. The reef makes it one of the few swimmable east-coast beaches. Snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding are available; hawksbills nest here, with hatching about July to October (Visit Barbados). Busy at weekends.
