The Settlement (Anegada)
18° 43.1′ N · 64° 19.0′ W
Anegada's only village, a quiet fishing settlement on the south shore with the island's government offices, clinic, post office, bakery and small shops, surrounded by the old stone walls of 'The Walls' farming area.
Practical
Position from Wikipedia (18°43'07"N, 64°19'01"W). About 4 miles (straight line) east of Setting Point (taxi or rental). Here: the Government Administration Building, the Nurse Romalia Smith Clinic, post office and police (a 2012 visitor found them sharing a building), library, Dotsy's Bakery, a laundromat and a few small stores (Noonsite, Wikipedia). Faulkner House Museum is in the village. Population about 200 to 300; goats roam freely. Noonsite calls it primarily a fishing village with little in the way of supplies.
Best for
