Cruising logs from 2015 and 2016 describe anchoring off Prickly Pear 'behind the field of mooring buoys'. Inside North Sound, with Prickly Pear and its barrier reef between you and the Atlantic swell. Depth and bottom are not documented in the sources found: sound your spot and keep clear of the moorings. A good spot to watch kiteboarders and to dinghy to Saba Rock and Bitter End.
