Coral Bay provisions & dinghy dock

18° 20.8′ N · 64° 42.8′ W · approximate

The landing at the head of Coral Harbor: dinghy dock and dirt boat ramp, with a Dolphin Market and Skinny Legs within a short walk.

Practical

Position approximate: the head of Coral Harbor, checked against OpenStreetMap to be at the water's edge. Coast Pilot 5: small-boat wharf with 3 ft alongside at the head of the bay, so approach the dock in a dinghy only. The Lime Out shuttle (Salt + Lime Express) leaves from the dirt boat ramp next to the Coral Bay dinghy dock (Lime Out, 2026). CBYC cruising guide (2022): the dinghy dock is a concrete dock with a wooden extension in the northeast corner of Coral Harbor, past the end of the channel markers (the true dock may sit a little east of this pin, near Skinny Legs). Do not tie to the open end, which is for loading and unloading charter and dive boats; tie along either long side with a painter of at least 10 ft (locals use 15 ft). Dinghies or vessels over 14 ft may not be left unattended and will be moved to anchor. A pay-by-phone boaters' trash bin near the dock costs US$3 to US$10 a bag (2022); the free public dumpsters are about half a mile away via the donkey trail and Salt Pond Road. No water, fuel dock, shore power or pump-out (CBYC). Dolphin Market (Cocoloba Plaza, west shore) is listed separately; the island guide gives its phone as (340) 776-5005 and the CBYC guide as (340) 776-5327. Coral Bay fire station/EMT: (340) 776-6365; emergency 911 (island guide). Lock the dinghy.
