Ao Nang's two nightlife strips: Soi RCA, a lane of about 15 bars with pool tables just up from the beach, and Center Point on the beach road.

Position from OpenStreetMap (Soi RCA). Bars play loud music and close at about 2am (Wikivoyage). The cheapest drinks are at the kiosks about 100 m down Soi 17, where the beach road meets the sand (cocktails about 100 THB, beer 40 THB, May 2016; verify locally). Use a bright torch and watch for unlit longtails on the dinghy ride back.
