Samui's annual week-long regatta, raced off Chaweng Beach each May with windward-leeward courses, line-honours and handicap results, plus parties ashore.

Official site (checked October 2026): the 2026 regatta ran 23-30 May 2026 and the 24th Samui Regatta is scheduled for 22-29 May 2027, on Chaweng Beach; host sponsors listed are Nora Buri Resort and Fair House Samui; contact ksr@regattas.asia. Noonsite says the racing fleet typically anchors off mid-Chaweng Bay near the Centara Grand Resort or slightly north of it, and that Chaweng anchoring is in 5-10 m (Southeast Asia Pilot). Chaweng is open to the east and can roll with SE swell, so ask the organisers about moorings and race-week arrangements. Coordinate is Wikivoyage's Chaweng Beach marker.
