An informal cruisers' club on the beach a short walk north of Chalong Pier, behind the Arch39 hotel, long run by Capt. Brent McInnes as a landing point and information hub for visiting yachts.
Practical
Position approximate (estimated on the beach north of the pier root): Noonsite places it on the beach about 300 m north of the jetty and SEAP says behind the Arch39 hotel. Noonsite's 2011 listing gives showers, marine guides, tide charts, book swap, dinghy lines under lights, Wi-Fi, water, a preferred-contractors list, and a bar and restaurant; phone 086 269 7138. SEAP still directs cruisers to Capt. Brent at PCYC to arrange Chalong moorings. The club's old website no longer works, so check it is still operating before you rely on it.
