The local boat from Laem Kruat Pier is the cheapest way to Krabi: about 100 to 140 THB per person, 30 to 45 minutes, running from about 9am to 6:15pm per Wikivoyage (price December 2022; verify locally). A late taxi boat costs about 1,500 THB. Useful for a crew change or a run to Krabi Town while the boat sits off the west coast; a sidecar taxi across the island costs about 50 THB (Wikivoyage).
