Laem Tong Anchorage (North Phi Phi Don)
7° 46.7′ N · 98° 45.8′ E
The anchorage off the resorts at Laem Tong on the northern tip of Phi Phi Don (Erawan Palms and Zeavola), with a beach, hillside and longtails always on hand to Ton Sai.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot waypoint 07°46.717N 98°45.849E, 15 nm from Ao Nang. Anchor in 8-10 m off the resorts; good in the SW monsoon. A fringing reef with about 200 m of tidal flats dries at spring lows. Approaching from the north, give a wide berth to the shallow Hin Klang coral south of Koh Mai Phai. In the NE monsoon, anchor at Ao Lanah instead and walk over the track.
