Khao Mai Kaew Cave
7° 32.0′ N · 99° 4.3′ E
A tight, muddy cave system in the island's jungle interior, with chambers, ladders and squeezes, reached by a path through rubber plantations.
Practical
Thainationalparks.com rates the Tham Khao Mai Kaew route as very difficult, with a guide required and some climbing needed; park rules require a licensed guide and a torch for all caves. Wikivoyage says the cave is reached by a narrow 1.5 km dirt path through rubber plantations. Go by road from Khlong Nin or the Old Town. Position from the OpenStreetMap cave-entrance node.
