Practical
Approximate: placed at Eden Island Marina (the base is inside the marina; exact pontoon not published). Reception 8:30am-5pm, seven days; after 6pm arrivals find a note on the reception door. Customer service +248 460 1330; VHF 14 within working hours. Skipper needs at least an ICC or RYA Day Skipper; the port authority issues a certificate of competence from your licence and passport number. Area and boat briefings are mandatory. Environmental levy SCR 100 per person per day (since 1 August 2023), payable on arrival. Night sailing is not permitted; be anchored an hour before sunset; minimum two aboard. Call VHF 12 (Port Control) when leaving and the base about 15 minutes before returning; boats must be ready for check-in at 9am on the last day. Barbecues may not be used in the marina. Shower access card deposit SCR 200. Airport transfer about 10-15 minutes.
