Eden Island Marina

4° 38.5′ S · 55° 28.6′ E

The largest marina in Seychelles, a floating superyacht-capable basin on the sheltered inland side of reclaimed Eden Island, linked to Mahé by a 300 m bridge and minutes from the airport. Home of the main charter fleets and the best place to leave a boat while you fly out.

Practical

Position as published by the marina. Over 1,000 m of piled pontoon berths, 180 m of it for superyachts up to 120 m; stern-to (bow to a mooring buoy) or alongside. Basin depth about 15-20 m but the approach channel is limited to 5 m. Boats lie in line with both prevailing winds (SE and NW). Shore power up to 400 V (the only marina in Seychelles offering it), water, metered Rolec pedestals, regular garbage collection, optional marina WiFi, showers, a small tug for line handling and a landing craft on request. Office upstairs in Marina House, 8am-4pm daily; tel +248 434 6300. Book ahead, especially in high season. Asia Pacific Superyachts (agent) has an office in Marina House. Cruisers on Noonsite call monthly rates competitive; a break-in was reported in September 2021 on a boat left while the owners were away, so lock up. VHF channel not published by the marina (third-party listings disagree; call the office). Report to Port Control on VHF 12 when using the Victoria channel.
