Silhouette Marine National Park
4° 29.2′ S · 55° 15.4′ E · approximate
Declared in 1987, the 30.45 sq km reserve around Silhouette is the largest marine park in Seychelles: granite reefs with turtles, eagle rays, white-tip reef sharks and humphead parrotfish.
Practical
Pin is off La Passe (approx; the park rings the whole island). SPGA's visitor page lists entry fees only for Ste Anne, Baie Ternay/Port Launay, Curieuse and Ile Cocos, not Silhouette, while The Moorings' 2026 eGuide says all marine parks charge SCR 200 per person per day and SCR 250 per yacht overnight; see 'Silhouette Marine National Park Fees and Rules' and confirm with the ranger. Marine park rules apply: anchor in sand only, no fishing gear or spearguns, no collecting shells or coral, no water-skiing or motorised sports. Visibility 15-30 m (NIVA Labriz). Shore snorkelling at La Passe (guided by the resort) and from the boat at Anse Mondon.
Best for
Turtle and reef snorkelling straight off the anchorage
