La Digue LPG gas cylinders (Seychelles Petroleum, La Passe)
4° 20.9′ S · 55° 49.8′ E
The only place on La Digue to swap a cooking-gas cylinder: the Seychelles Petroleum filling station a few steps from the La Passe jetty.
Practical
OpenStreetMap lists the station as selling gas cylinders along with gasoil, unleaded and lubricant, with compressed air, open Monday-Saturday 7:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-5:30pm, Sunday 8am-12pm (verify locally). Cylinders are exchange-only local bottles - bring an empty compatible cylinder or check whether your charter boat's bottle and regulator fit before relying on it; refilling foreign cylinders is not documented here. Carry the bottle by bike or trolley; there is no fuel dock. koek.sc notes there are no chandleries on La Digue; for anything beyond a bottle swap use Mahé (see LPG and Fuel, Victoria and East Coast).
