Big Mama Dive (Roche Grand Maman)

A shallow reef and shoal dive on the north coast just west of Anse Lazio, easy for all levels and close enough to do from a yacht anchored in the bay.

Average 10 m, max 13 m; no current; visibility 10-30 m; all levels (wannadive). Mapped on OpenStreetMap as Roche Grand Maman, a scuba site off the headland west of Anse Lazio. Guided diving only (Moorings eGuide); snorkel the rock in calm water. Exposed to northerly swell in the NW monsoon. Coordinate from the OSM-mapped rock (wannadive places it about 1 km east, -4.2927, 55.6952).
