Victoria Inner Harbour (GVHA Causeway and Wharf Street Marinas)
48° 25.5′ N · 123° 22.3′ W
Downtown Victoria's Inner Harbour lets you tie up below the Empress Hotel and the Legislature, steps from restaurants, museums and shops. The harbour authority runs several visitor marinas here. It is also Canada's busiest water airport, so boats share the water with floatplanes.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM point for Wharf Street Marina. The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority runs Causeway, Wharf Street and Ship Point; dock crew monitor VHF 66A, drop-in moorage 250-883-2458, other enquiries 250-383-8326. Reservations are online only and strongly advised June 1 to August 31, when more than 3,000 visiting boats arrive. Follow the Port of Victoria traffic scheme: keep the yellow harbour markers close on your port side when entering and leaving so floatplanes can use the runway lanes. If arriving from the US, clear customs first at the Raymur Point CBSA dock in the middle harbour. Fuel at the Fisherman's Wharf fuel dock. Groceries, chandleries and everything else within walking distance. Chart 3412.
