A hat-shaped islet off Maricaban whose reef 'brim' slopes from 5 m shallows into walls and valleys - corals, schooling reef fish, turtles and macro in clear Verde Island Passage water.

Position: OSM 'Sombrero Island' (Tingloy). Depth 10-55 m overall: shallow reef 5-12 m, walls and slopes 12-25 m (Blue Ribbon Divers). Current mild to quite strong, especially around full moon, usually dived as a gentle drift. Beginner to technical. Wikipedia: hat-shaped rocky island with white sand.
