11° 8.5′ N · 119° 19.0′ E · approximate

El Nido's best-known dive: a reef and cabbage-coral slope at the south end of Miniloc falling as a wall past 35-40 m, with turtles, schooling jacks and snappers, and tuna off the deep slope.

Practical

Approx: placed between Miniloc's south tip and Shimizu Island (OpenStreetMap island points); site not geolocated by a source. Depth 5-35 m (philippinedives); Open Water divers stay 5-18 m. Mornings usually have better visibility before boat traffic stirs sediment. Dive with an El Nido operator - protected-area rules apply. Dry-season visibility around 15-25 m, water 26-29°C year-round (Submariner). Palawan Divers: between Miniloc and Simizu next to the lagoons, 5-30 m, usually gentle current with occasional moderate-to-strong flows; Spanish mackerel, tuna, marbled grouper, spadefish; eagle rays, mantas and devil rays possible; about 45 minutes by boat.
