Two secluded coves at Boracay's north-west tip beyond Diniwid and Balinghai, backed by forested hills where flying foxes roost.
Practical
Position: Punta Bunga Beach (OpenStreetMap); Banyugan is just north (11.9872, 121.9061). Largely fronted by resort development; easiest access is by dinghy from the Punta Bunga anchorage in the amihan. Three flying-fox species are recorded on Boracay, concentrated in Barangay Yapak where bat hunting is banned.
