Paradise Beach Dive Site (Cadlao)

11° 12.0′ N · 119° 22.2′ E · approximate

A gentle sandy slope straight off Paradise Beach on Cadlao that El Nido dive schools call their 'natural swimming pool' - turtles, clownfish, cuttlefish and, in the cooler months, flamboyant cuttlefish and seahorses.

Practical

Approx: plotted just offshore of the Paradise Beach camp on Cadlao's south side (OpenStreetMap node 4805965223, 11.2003, 119.3700). Depth 1-18 m from the beach, no current (Palawan Divers); about 15 minutes by boat from town. Used for Open Water confined sessions and Advanced/Rescue training. Flamboyant cuttlefish and seahorses are mostly January-March when the water is cooler. A good easy option on a day when the outer sites are rough.
