Panglao now has real supermarkets close to the Alona Beach anchorage: Alturas near the airport, Robinsons Supermarket at Bellemar in Tawala (opened September 2026) and the Bohol Big Plus Mart on the Alona strip, so a full provision no longer needs a trip to Tagbilaran.

Position: Alturas Panglao supermarket (OpenStreetMap). Alturas Bohol says the store is on the mezzanine of Fixrite Hardware-Panglao in Barangay Bolod near Bohol-Panglao airport, open daily 8am-8pm (opening announcement undated, about December 2023; verify locally), and Fixrite downstairs is useful for hardware. Robinsons Supermarket opened on 4 September 2026 at Bellemar Lifestyle Center, Tawala, open daily 8am-9pm, with fresh produce, meat and seafood and local and imported brands (Inside PH, September 2026); Bellemar is about 600 m from the Alona commercial centre (Inquirer, 2019). Bohol Big Plus Mart is at Alona (OSM, 9.5509N 123.7715E, open 10am-11pm). Superman Korean Mart and a 7-Eleven are also on the Alona strip (OSM; Wikivoyage). For the biggest selection, Island City Mall and the Tagbilaran market are 30-40 minutes by road (see 'Tagbilaran Malls and Markets').
