Wikipedia: Matabungkay is known for its wide beach, clear water, creamy sand and the balsa (bamboo beach raft); locals found it in the early 1950s and cottages were built in the early 1960s. The beach faces west onto Nasugbu Bay and the South China Sea and has no yacht shelter. Talim Bay, about 2 NM north, is the nearest lee from the south. Busy on weekends and holidays.
