Guyam Island

9° 45.9′ N · 126° 10.1′ E

A tiny teardrop of white sand and coconut palms 2 km off General Luna - the classic first stop of the island hop, with water so clear and shallow you can wade around it at low tide.

Practical

About 0.4 ha. Fees reported: PHP 30 per person entrance and PHP 10 docking (Philippine Beach Guide 2018; verify locally). One side is rocky with strong currents, the other sandy and calm (Philippine Beach Guide, 2026). Cottages, a smoothie/snack bar and a basketball court under the palms. Inside the reef: about 30 min by banca from General Luna (Greta's Travels, 2019). OSM marks a shallow 'Secret Island' sand area just outside Guyam.

Best for

Swim, snorkel and a shady picnic
