Doljo Bay Anchorage (Panglao)

9° 35.5′ N · 123° 44.0′ E · approximate

A fair-weather stop off Doljo Beach on Panglao's north-west tip, a quiet white-sand alternative to Alona with the Doljo wall dive right next door.

Practical

Position approx: placed about 330 m north of Doljo Beach (OSM beach position 9.5890N 123.7338E) and checked as open water against the OpenStreetMap coastline. We found no published yacht anchorage, depth or holding for Doljo. philippinedives.com (2026) describes the Doljo wall as near-vertical, plunging beyond 80 m with strong currents, so expect a narrow shelf that drops off fast: sound carefully, anchor only on sand you can see, and do not drop on coral. The beach faces north, so it is a lee in the south-west monsoon (Habagat, June-November), when philippinedives.com says dive operators move to the north-coast sites; it is exposed to the north-east monsoon. Beach restaurants at Doljo are listed under 'Doljo Beach Restaurants'. Day stop only until you have checked depths yourself.

Best for

A Habagat-season lunch stop and Doljo wall dive

Season
