A white-sand bay near the northern tip of Palawan with fishing bancas pulled up on the beach - the usual first or last stop for yachts on the Coron-El Nido run, under 20 nm from Corong-Corong.
Practical
Hacking Family: 11°24.56'N 119°28.65'E, 20 ft (about 6 m) sand; protected from all winds without some west in them. Moken (2015) found it shoaling from 30 to 20 ft over sand and noted charts say 'Diapilao' while locals say 'Japilao'; no cell, Wi-Fi or 3G then. OpenStreetMap places Diapila Bay at 11.4097, 119.4765.
