The quiet fishing barangay of Sibaltan on El Nido's east (Sulu Sea) coast, home to the Tagbanua community of Batacalan, a laid-back beach strip and the jumping-off point for manta diving.

Position: Floresita's Beach Resort on Tapik Road (OpenStreetMap node 4714500192); Tapik Beach Park Guesthouse is next door. Sibaltan Bay (Wikidata Q31518384) lies just north at about 11.2742, 119.6161. Shore-based manta trips run to the 'Saan Ka' cleaning station about 7 km offshore (Philippine Dives: 40+ identified reef mantas, peak March-June, mandatory Code of Conduct briefing, stronger currents). The east coast faces the NE monsoon: no published yacht anchorage - settled SW-monsoon weather only, sound in carefully.
