You can clear out of Mexico from Puerto Aventuras marina: the marina books an agent who brings immigration over from Cozumel to your boat.
Practical
Coordinate is the marina (SEMAR beacon Sur 03, approximate for the office). August 2022 report (Sunpowered Yachts, heading to Belize): the marina booked an agent ('Walter') and an immigration officer who came by ferry from Cozumel; with boat papers and passport copies supplied beforehand they were aboard only 10-15 minutes; cost US$200 for the check-out; you then have 48 hours to depart. A January 2019 cruiser report also notes officials must come from Cozumel and that clearing here is 'expensive'; one idea is to share the cost with other southbound boats. From 2026 agents are compulsory on the east coast and cost more - one report found MXN 7,000 in / MXN 5,000 out, plus MXN 983 per person immigration (verify locally).
