Manzanillo Fuel (Las Hadas Fuel Dock)

19° 5.9′ N · 104° 20.8′ W · approximate

The only fuel dock for yachts on Manzanillo and Santiago bays is the short dock at Marina Las Hadas, below the resort - most crews either Med-moor to it carefully or ferry jerry cans by dinghy.

Practical

Position approximate: placed at Marina Las Hadas (OpenStreetMap marina node); the fuel dock is inside the small harbor. Boats usually stern-tie to the dock and set a bow anchor to fuel; boulders lie just below the surface around the dock, so some cruisers (bwsailing) skip it and carry jerry jugs in the dinghy instead. The dock attendant changes from season to season (2011 report). Marina Las Hadas contacts in Latitude 38's 2026 First Timer's Guide: 70 stern-to Med-moor slips, harbormaster Adrián Evidarte Ramos, +52 (314) 198-9819 / +52 (314) 331-0101, hadas.marina@brisas.com.mx - call ahead to confirm fuel availability and hours. From the Santiago (La Boquita) anchorage it is about 3 nm across the bay. Water at the marina was reported not potable (Noonsite comments 2017). The commercial port at San Pedrito has no yacht fuel.
