The old wooden tour-boat and sunset pier on Holbox's north beach, built after Hurricane Wilma in 2005, partly collapsed in a 2021 norte and finished off by Cold Front 32 in February 2024.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate: placed on the north beach due north of the main plaza, because no mapped position was found. Por Esto (April 2024) reports the remains fenced off and more than 100 boatmen asking for a new pier; whether it has been rebuilt was not verified. Do not plan to land a dinghy here; watch for submerged debris off the north beach.
