Holbox Ferry Terminal
21° 31.1′ N · 87° 22.5′ W
The village ferry pier on the lagoon side of Holbox, where the Chiquilá passenger ferries land - the reference point for boats anchored off the village.
Practical
Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap ferry-terminal node 'Terminal Marítima de Holbox'. Ferries cross to Chiquilá in 25-30 minutes every half hour from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm; Holbox Express runs on the half hour and 9 Hermanos on the hour, MXN 330 each (April 2025). A fisherman's boat for two or more costs about MXN 600 (Wikivoyage). Por Esto (2024) says the main pier is where the transport boats tie up, which pushes tour boats to the island's sides - keep the ferry approach clear when anchoring.
Best for
Crew changes and the run to Chiquilá
