Banderas News (March 2023) picks: Ozzies Sports Bar & Grill on Calle Lázaro Cárdenas, the main street parallel to the beach (burgers, wings, sports on big screens over two floors); Buce-Burger on the east side of Highway 200 (wood-fired burgers); The Backyard Grill and Beer, through a doorway off a back alley parallel to the highway (tacos, seafood, ribs, live music); and MezzoGiorno Ristorante Italiano on the beach, five blocks north of the big Bucerías sign (three levels, all with ocean views). Hours were not stated; check locally. Surf landings only off the beach, so come by bus or taxi from the La Cruz anchorage.
