An easy walk up a dirt track from Pinney's Beach to the stable and great-house ruins of an old estate on the lower slopes of Nevis Peak.
Practical
Position is approximate - roughly midway up the track inland of Sunshine's. ActiveCaptain (2016): beach the dinghy by Sunshine's, cross the main road to a dirt road with a chain across it, walk a few hundred feet to ruins on the left, then about a mile further to the stable (restored) and great-house ruins on the right. Signs say private property - treat with care. About an hour each way.
