Supermarkets about 8am-8pm, mini-markets about 7am-9pm (Statia Tourism). It's an uphill walk from Lower Town via the Slave Path - take a taxi back with heavy loads. Bring cash: many businesses do not take cards and ATMs (bank and airport) often run out. A gas station is on Faeschweg in Upper Town (OpenStreetMap) for jerry-can fuel.
