A waymarked 5.8 km walk from the foot of Gros Morne in Deshaies along an old colonial road through dry coastal forest to the beaches north of town, mixing history and ecology.

Start position from the Rando Guadeloupe / national park Geotrek database (trek 5116): behind the Bethsy school near the cemetery at the bottom of Gros Morne. 2 hr 30 min, 5.8 km, about 200 m of climb, easy-moderate. Turtle nesting beaches on the route; parking and swimming spots unsupervised.
