18° 7.0′ N · 63° 2.5′ W
A deep, hill-ringed cove on the north coast with a resort beach and a small marina behind a narrow channel - one of the island's French ports of entry.
Practical
Position is the charted anchorage mark in OpenStreetMap seamark data. Protected by the surrounding hills from the east; open to the north. Useful as the last stop before St Barths: clear out here to get the wet stamp St Barths requires. Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant on the beach. The Sentier des Froussards trail starts nearby.
Best for
A quiet north-coast cove and clearance for St Barths
Season
Easterly trades; avoid in northerly swell
