Anse Feuillard & East Coast Trail
15° 55.9′ N · 61° 11.8′ W
The wild, dry east coast of Marie-Galante: a marked coastal path over sharp coral rock from Borée past old indigo works to the Anse Feuillard lagoon, with views to La Désirade and the Pointe des Châteaux.
Practical
Position is the Anse Feuillard bay node (OSM). Sentier de la Côte Est: 5.65 km one way (11.3 km return), about 2 hours one way, medium difficulty, light-blue rectangles; good shoes essential (tourist office). Indigo-vat ruins at 'Le Gouffre' (Conservatoire du Littoral land). Snorkel at Anse Feuillard inside the lagoon only. The short Sentier des Galeries (1.5 km loop, 45 minutes, difficult, ochre markers) explores sea-cut galleries near Capharnaüm - stay back from the waves.
Best for
A rugged coastal hike on the Atlantic side
