17° 53.2′ N · 62° 49.3′ W
A long, undeveloped south-coast beach behind dunes, popular with nudists at one end, with the old salt pond behind it full of wading birds.
Practical
OpenStreetMap beach position. By land: short walk from the car park through the dunes. Shore break can be powerful in a south or south-east swell; the eastern end tends to be calmer. A 45-60 minute loop around beach and pond is one of the best short walks on the island. No facilities on the sand.
Best for
Wild beach and birding
