A tall roadside waterfall plunging into a pool beside the Hana Highway between Hana and Kipahulu, and the 'high waterfall usually conspicuous from offshore' that the Coast Pilot uses to identify Wailua Cove.

Coast Pilot: Wailua Cove is 5.5 miles SW of Kauiki Head, with a high waterfall halfway up the mountain and a white cross below it; landings may be made in almost any cove along this coast in normal trades, although the swell enters all of them. Very limited roadside parking.
