Napili Bay
20° 59.7′ N · 156° 40.0′ W
A golden-sand crescent between two rocky points just south of Kapalua, with turtles around the ends and calm summer swimming.
Practical
Summer is best for swimming and snorkeling; winter brings a strong shorebreak. Mornings are often calmer. No public restrooms or showers (the Napili Kai's are for guests), no lifeguards, limited street parking (to-hawaii.com). Small boats can land in the bay during trade-wind weather; breakers extend 0.2 mile offshore for 1.5 miles south of the bay (Coast Pilot). Gazebo and Sea House restaurants are on the bay (OSM, not separately verified).
