Launiupoko Beach Park
20° 50.6′ N · 156° 39.2′ W
A grassy county park at Launiupoko Point, south of Lahaina, with a rock-walled keiki pool and a gentle reef break; one of the Pacific Whale Foundation's Great Whale Count shore stations.
Practical
Coordinate from OpenStreetMap. Shoal water extends about 0.2 mile offshore from Launiupoko Point northwest to Lahaina (Coast Pilot), so this is a shore stop, not an anchorage. Pacific Whale Foundation uses the park as a Great Whale Count site (Jan 30, Feb 27 and Mar 27, 2027, 8am to 12pm). Facility details (wading pool, restrooms) were not verified from an official page.
