Lahaina Harbor Fuel Dock (Pacific West Fuels)

20° 52.4′ N · 156° 40.7′ W · approximate

West Maui's only fuel dock, rebuilt by its vendor Pacific West Fuels and reopened on August 6, 2024 as the first business to reopen in the Lahaina burn zone.

Practical

Coordinate is approx: Maui Now places the dock on the makai (seaward) side of where the Pioneer Inn stood, near the Banyan Court and Old Lahaina Courthouse, at the inner end of the small-boat wharf. Pacific West Fuels has run the Lahaina fuel dock since 1989; the rebuilt system has generators and a card reader for payment (DLNR, Aug 2024). Coast Pilot: gasoline and diesel at Lahaina are obtained through the harbormaster, VHF 68 or (808) 662-4060. ACCESS (DOBOR notices, Oct 2026): Lahaina harbor is open only to permitted commercial ocean operations, daylight only, so private and visiting boats should not plan on fueling here until the harbor reopens; use Maalaea (truck delivery) instead. Hours and fuel types were not published; confirm with the harbormaster.

Best for

Fuel for permitted commercial operators; watch for the reopening to private boats

Season

Commercial permittees only while Lahaina harbor is restricted (2026)
