Ko Olina Marina

21° 19.6′ N · 158° 7.3′ W

A modern private resort marina on Oahu's sunny leeward corner with floating docks, a fuel dock and every amenity; Noodle's Notes calls it his marina of choice when a hurricane threatens Oahu.

Practical

Coordinates from the marina's own map link. 92-100 Waipahe Pl, Kapolei 96707; (808) 679-1050; marinainfo@koolina.com. 342 full-service slips up to 200 ft on a 43-acre marina, Bellingham floating docks, public non-commercial boat ramp with trailer parking (marina site). FUEL DOCK with gas, diesel and pumpout just inside the entrance; the harbormaster's office is in the building behind it (Noodle's Notes, Nov 2024). Noodle: reservations must be made at least two days before arrival, space has always been available in his experience, well built, sheltered and maintained, but not cheap; a laundromat on site; free resort shuttle stops at the marina and the shopping center about half a mile away with a decent supermarket. Monthly tenants pay water ($15 plus tax per month) and metered electricity plus a performance fee; transient rates are on request. Entry is through the Barbers Point Harbor deep-draft channel; give way to ships and tugs. Clearing in: a 2018 report describes CBP officers driving out from Honolulu within about 2 hours. A Noonsite position for the harbour entrance is 21-19.27N, 158-07.41W. Fuel check (October 2026): the marina site still lists a fuel dock for gas, diesel and pump-out; fuel dock hours are not posted, so call (808) 679-1050 before arriving for fuel.
