Honomalino Bay Anchorage
19° 10.2′ N · 155° 54.5′ W
A small all-sand bay a mile north of Okoe, with a palm- and kiawe-fringed gray-sand beach at its north end and the village of Miloli'i a half-mile walk away. It is a touch more exposed than Okoe, but the holding is better.
Practical
Noodle's Notes approximate GPS 19-10.22N 155-54.53W: depth 10-20 ft, sand bottom, not a regulated area, summer months with no north swell; can be rolly. Ashore is a 4WD track on gated private land; walk north along the jeep track about half a mile to the small store and end of the paved road at Miloli'i. To-Hawaii.com: the beach is fronted by a shallow sandbar that drops off sharply, with good swimming and snorkeling when calm; the public trail from Miloli'i Beach Park starts between the yellow church and the restrooms and follows the coast; keep to the signed route to avoid private property.
